Yanawal

Yanawal is a Marrakulu site located in the stony hills near Gurka’wuy. It is associated with Wuyal the Honey ancestral because it’s where he searched for honey and felled trees. Wuyal’s boomerang, running freshwater, honey, and the sacred Wanambi tree blossom are found in the Marrakulu clan designs connected to this place.
